Welcome to Stairway to Hydrogen

Stairway to Hydrogen is the acronym of an Integrated Project which has been submitted in the 1 st Call  of FP 6, Priority 6.1.ii  Sustainable Energy Systems (March 2003). The objective of this Integrated Project is the cost-effective production of hydrogen from biomass. The focus is on combining and subsequent benchmarking of technologies for (Photo)fermentation, anaerobic digestion and thermochemical conversion of biomass to hydrogen. Stairway to Hydrogen has not been selected for negotiation. This project proposal has been modified to make the Integrated Project HYVOLUTION, submitted in the 2 nd Call of FP 6. HYVOLUTION is now under negotiation.
